We will post photos of the winning gardens on our website in the coming weeks, so please return soon.

Our Blooms Day keynote speaker, Lynn Steiner, offered many exciting ideas for urban gardeners who want to incorporate native plants.  Her slide presentation of uses of natives in landscapes was beautiful and highly motivating.

Our four mini-workshops were well-attended.The crowd enjoyed browsing the many vendor tables, silent auction, the plant sale, plant societies, snacking on delicious pastries and posing questions to Hennepin County Master Gardeners.  Thank you for making Metro Blooms' 2009 Blooms Day a rousing success!
